Halloween and its Background!!!

Halloween, also known as All Hallows' Eve or All Saints' Eve, is a festival celebrated in many countries on 31 October, the evening before the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It signifies the start of All Hallowtide, a period in the Christian liturgical calendar dedicated to honoring the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.

In popular culture, Halloween has transformed into a celebration of horror and is associated with the macabre and the supernatural.

Trick Or treat!!!

On Halloween 2025, we, the residents of Alamo, enjoy celebrating by spending time with friends and family every year. This year, I chose to visit a family-oriented place by the name "The Rail Yard".

If any of you have ever visited this place, you'll find it to be fun and relaxing, and I must say, the food is incredibly good.

The staff there is incredibly friendly and truly treated everyone like family. On October 31, 2025, people were dressed in Halloween costumes.

As a result, the Rail Yard organized a Halloween costume contest, which turned out to be incredibly enjoyable. Participants came up with fantastic ideas for their costumes, reflecting what they love to dress up as.

In my view, all the costumes were winners, but unfortunately, only one could be awarded a prize.

PSJA is so fortunate to have discovered this nearby location for celebrating all kinds of reunions as well.

As you can observe, the venue is quite spacious and offers plenty of room to encounter a variety of wonderful individuals.

Halloween at the rail yard was a memorable experience that people will cherish for generations.

The food is not only delicious but also very affordable. As I looked around, I noticed people playing pool and enjoying their drinks. Since I no longer drink alcohol, I was having a Coke.

If you haven't visited the Rail Yard in Alamo, I highly suggest stopping by for dinner and a Coke, especially if you're like me that doesn't drink beer or cocktails.

In conclusion

These were some of the costumes people wore that day.

If you're from Alamo and prefer not to travel far for a memorable dinner with your loved one, head to the Rail Yard in Alamo, Texas, for an unforgettable night. The music is fantastic, especially if you enjoy 80s rock and country. If you're curious about whether I dressed up this year, the answer is yes—I went as a witch, just like I do every year.
