Many locals are fighting for their rights, both past and future, which has never occurred in the RGV. Many people were upset when Donald Trump was elected president of the United States this year. No one ever claimed that protesting would not be safe, but it is never easy.

However, the US has the right to lawfully protest under the First Amendment. The United States Constitution's First Amendment shields the freedoms of expression and religion from governmental interference. It forbids any legislation that creates a national religion, restricts the freedom of expression, restricts the freedom of the press, interferes with the right to peaceful assembly, or forbids citizens from petitioning the government for a redress of their grievances.

Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream in 1963, but it has been so long since then. This group of people are attempting to overcome that. that they hope future generations will have a better future. Since "Donlad Trump" came into office his first executive order was to deport all illegal back to their countries.

The good news is that none of these individuals are illegal. These children are not from that timeline, but some of their families are. Thus, a group of young people made the decision to speak out for the city of McAllen on January 1, 2025. They took a very strong action.

They invoked the First Amendment, and hundreds of people from all over the cities joined them.

Do you believe they made a mistake? Since so many people disapproved of this, many people didn't give a damn about what other people thought. This generation has seen a huge increase in hate. One day, I hope, the United States will have a Hispanic or even transgender president. If you follow the line, you will only see Caucasian presidents throughout the entire history of the presidency.

When I was kid, I believed that Ronald Reagan was the greatest president ever. However, it wasn't until I was forty years old that I learned about the LGBTQ community and the struggles they faced in New York while Regan was in office.

We broke the Caucasian line, then. Obama took office in 2008. It was different but it was correct. Diversity was opening up more.

We felt that everyone's diversity was really admirable. Why is the race of others important to others? I will tell my truth. I'm Mexican American, and when I was a kid, I had a problem with Mexicans from Mexico. I didn't find them appealing. I didn't communicate with the Mexican students at my high school. Let me tell you about their future, though. They made a name for themselves in life, and I'm so proud of their accomplishment. Was it wise of me to pass judgment on them? No, it wasn't. America gave those kids the right to become someone special in life and they sure did. So, America needs to give others a chance to do greatness in life.

Yes, I agree that there is no place for criminals in America, but there are many children and young adults who aspire to achieve greatness in life and are not criminals that come from other countries.

Encouraging others to achieve success in life is essential for the betterment of the Hispanic community. A Mexican American president of the United States is something I could only hope to see if I live 30 years in the future. You will never see me say "Viva Mexico", but you will see me say I love everyone in this world and lets all achieve greatness for every one future.
