"Wolverine" High School at its finest. Home Coming 2024!

As generations keep growing in the RGV, Friday the 3rd the city of Alamo had homecoming. "Wolverine Pride" was exhibited with a great parade in Alamo Tx. Many families were cheering their children on who attended in these fun events, as I noticed while I was walking around.

As I kept walking, I saw this horse, in my view, this was the most enjoyable aspect of the parade. It had been a long time since I had seen horses in a parade. It's also been a long time since I've enjoyed a parade the way I did this one. We appreciate the Alamo City Managers for allowing this to take place.

With everyone getting along and enjoying themselves, life couldn't get any better as the children danced and had a good time. You may wonder, to what song were the children dancing? I did, however, hear the shuffle song playing.

Something that caught my eye was the cool snacks being sold by a vendor. In addition to many faces, I was unfamiliar with, I recognized a few familiar ones. Alamo has undoubtedly expanded. What I noticed about the high school there is a swimming pool. Something that we didn't have in my generation.

I wanted to hail a ride from this officer. I watched him ride, looking like he was having a great time coming back and forth. I can definitely tell you that these kids will remember high school and home coming forever.

Let's all give thanks to the city of Alamo and the City Major for coming to this, and let's continue to make Alamo a wonderful place for upcoming generations.

We appreciate the efforts of the fire department in keeping this event as safe as possible, as well as the efforts of all the police officers in keeping everyone safe.

Congratulation to the 2025 class! Keep in mind that everyone can serve as an inspiration to someone. So, make great choices and always try to give a helping hand to people if you can.
