1'st Car Pride Parade in Alamo, Tx!!!!! 78516

Not everyone is aware of the history of the LGBTQ community or the struggles they faced in New York in the 1960s. People in the United States found it extremely difficult to live their lives freely because the majority of people believed that LGBTQ individuals were all mentally sick.

One day, the mob took over an underground tavern and ran it illegally. A large-scale riot that will live on in history broke out. I believe I should have learned this a long time ago, but I only discovered it for myself a few years ago. However, I didn't know a lot of LGBTQ individuals, and I also didn't watch any TV shows about this subject. I was never informed about any of this by my family until one day, during Pride Month, when an LGBTQ Pride History show aired on television. The things I had discovered that day had shocked me.

Even now, the stone wall serves as a reminder of everyone's success from the 1960s Riots. It was unfortunate that there was nowhere for LGBTQ individuals to hang out without running into trouble with the law. The only location where LGBTQ folks could hang out and be authentic was Stonewall Bar. The government refused to grant a liquor license to a pub that was renowned for being gay; therefore, the establishment operated unlawfully as it lacked any licenses.

When the LGBTQ community rebelled, they said that enough was enough. What if they hadn't retaliated? "Silence equals death." The purpose of this story is to love and educate everyone in order to create better generations in the future, not to incite riots. Hopefully, instead of going backward, we can all move ahead. Thus, disseminate accurate instruction so that children in the future might do the same for generations to come.

The state of acceptance for the LGBTQ community only grew worse throughout the 1980s. Following the onset of the Aids pandemic, the LGBTQ community was singled out and accused of spreading the disease. Because they were unable to resist the impulse, many married men at this period were having affairs with the same sex. If you find yourself drawn to someone of the same sex, you have nothing to be embarrassed about. If you don't find the same sex appealing either, that's okay too.

Many of you may only be familiar with Ru Paul, but Michael Musto, Nelson Sullivan, and Michael Alli are the others. Look them up on YouTube to learn about their experiences and histories. There are many videos of them. Who is it that many American LGBTQ individuals now look up to?

Here in Alamo, Texas, the first LGBTQ vehicle pride parade was born. I'm grateful to all of my lovely friends who helped make this happen. Our first car pride parade was organized by us, and it was a huge success. With the foundation I work with hopefully we can create a better world; more is to come.

I'll leave you with a special grin and hope that, at some future event, we might all unite as one and create history by demonstrating our shared love for one another. There are a lot of historical events, so educate everyone about them. I hope you can return everyone's affection, because I adore you. Accept us as we are; don't merely put up with us. Say hello to me if you see me on the street, and I'll return the greeting with a smile.

More seriously, a large number of my helpers for this event come from the straight community. I want to express my gratitude for each and every one of you and dedicate my narrative to you all. Continue extending your love to everyone you meet.
