Since the law permitting same-gender marriage for the LGBTQ community was passed, it has created an incredible sense of joy for everyone. I've been wanting to write a story about two gay men living in Fort Worth for a while now.

The LGBTQ community has long sought to achieve equal rights, similar to those enjoyed by others. It is widely recognized that their journey to the present status has often been challenging.

In 1969, a riot occurred at the Stonewall Inn in New York, emphasizing how the LGBTQ community was perceived as abnormal compared to other genders. Their sole desire was to be accepted, just like everyone else.

James and Ricky appear extremely joyful in this photo, which moves me to tears. Their dream was set to come true on September 4, 2022, as they were raising two teenagers and worried that postponing could result in the government prohibiting gay marriages.

Times are changing quickly. Even though gay marriages have been accepted for several years, it appears that some individuals are starting to have problems with it. Why would anyone be against the idea of marriage and happiness?

I've been asked if I want to get married, and my answer is yes. Like everyone, I wish for a normal family, even if it isn't perfect. I hope these changes will benefit the next generation in greatness.

Clearly, my desire is for everyone to love each other and get along. I understand that some might think I'm crazy, but that's simply my viewpoint.

The Conclusion

I'd like to repeat my usual message to everyone: embrace and value each person in this amazing world. Our future grandchildren will inherit this world from us. If for no other reason, do it so they can live in a society built entirely on love.

I'm aware that I'm requesting quite a bit, but I'll simply have to wait, see, and hope. I'll share the original article where I first read their story with you.
