What are hate crimes?

A Shake Shack restaurant in Washington, DC, was the scene of a hate crime where a couple was beaten up. What is a hate crime you might ask? Since the dawn of time, there have been hate crimes. I was not happy after watching a video of what transpired to an LGBTQ couple in Washington, DC.
When someone targets a victim based only on their physical appearance or their perceived membership in a particular social group, it's known as a hate crime, also known as a bias crime.
In this story, a couple were dining at a restaurant, and the waiter who served them wasn't pleased with what he noticed. The two individuals, however, planted a kiss on one another. A conflict broke out between the couple once the waiter called them out. As it happened, a few of the employees stood up for their colleague.

The employees' actions toward the couple resulted in their suspension at work. The LGBTQ community's inability to kiss each other in public due to social perceptions is just heartbreaking. Okay, so why is it so wrong? LGBTQ people are not prohibited from kissing anywhere in the Bible. It also makes no mention of heterosexual people kissing in public. It does, however, advise loving one another. Being LGBTQ is viewed as a sin by some. If that's the way things are going, does that mean straight men cheating on their wife with other women is ok? Drug use is also included, although none of those things seem to be brought up by others. Similarly, abusing adolescents is a problem, but the LGBTQ group seems to be more despised.
I hate to say it, but if people want the LGBTQ community to refrain from kissing in public, then people also need to quit kissing their wives. Everybody has an equal right to it. Everyone must begin teaching their children and the elder generation that things are changing or have changed. It's a straight world, according to the straight folks. I apologize for bursting your bubble. America is a country where everyone is protected by laws. I get the impression that people enjoy disobeying these regulations. Continuing to live up to our reputation as the "land of the free" is important.

These categories include, but are not limited to, people based on their race, ethnicity, disability, language, nationality, physical appearance, political affiliation or views, age, religion, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Physical assault, murder, property damage, and other incidents are possible.

I've noticed that many members of the LGBTQ community have relocated to new locations because, in their opinion, those places offered greater acceptance for the group. However, I was shocked to see that the LGBTQ community is not tolerated anywhere, even in other cities.
The unfortunate thing is that a lot of people relocate to large cities like Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and other lovely places. I wish someone would finally explain to me why there is such a strong animosity toward the LGBTQ community. I've included images of church saints since some individuals want to use the Bible to prove that God despises the LGBTQ community. People are brainwashed by others because they are so full of hate.

The children of tomorrow are growing up, and they will soon be leading the next generation. Isn't it desirable for your children or grandchildren to reside in an area that offers greater safety than danger? Being transsexual meant that I never had children or grandchildren, and getting to where I am now hasn't been simple. In my school years, I was also physically assaulted.
For me, junior high was the roughest year. Every child was a bully. This caused such hardship during my adolescent years that I briefly considered suicide. Do you folks wish that for your children or grandchildren? As we age, a new generation is emerging to rule the United States. Thus, let us love and care for them so that they can rule this world with acceptance and love. Perhaps the RGV will witness a future president in the White House, who knows? All of us are capable of having lofty dreams. So, let's all strive for the same goal: acceptance and love.

While each person goes about living their life, keep in mind that by accepting other viewpoints, we can all work toward improving the world. There should be no tolerance for hate crime.
